It has been some time now, that our national champion in Triathlon has had doubts against the world's best athletes.
His first experience on japanese soil hasn't been fortunate : as of the beginning of this season, Bob Haller only participated on so called « Sprint » (750m swim, 20km cycling and 5km run) distances. However, in Yokohama he was
facing the Olympic distance which doubles the distances of each discipline ! To top it all, the japanese race was called out to be a WTS (World Triathlon Series) race, the most relevated race formats of all. Which explains, why 14 men out of the top 20 in the world hierarchy showed up on the start line !

Great performance for me in the semi-finals on the 1st day. Passing on the final the next day, the race showed up to be cruel and even some of the world's best like Joao Silva or Dimitry Poliansky did not finish at their best.

Bob Haller E X C E L L E N T !
C'est assurément l'une des meilleures, sinon LA meilleure performance que le sociétaire du X3M de Mersch a réalisée jusqu'à ce jour dans une compétition de « World Cup Sprint » !
En effet, tôt ce samedi matin, Bob Haller a pris la très bonne 5e place dans la première des trois demi-finales de l'épreuve chinoise.
